Explore the Future: Hickory Hill Academy's Student Council Shares Exciting Features of New Building!

Hickory Hill Academy is excited to announce the opening of its new K-8th grade building, set to open in the fall of 2023!

To celebrate this exciting time in the school's history, the student council was given the opportunity to tour the construction site and get a sneak peek of what's to come.

The students were able to see first-hand the progress that has been made on the new building and get a sense of what the finished product will look like. They were able to walk through the halls, check out the classrooms, and get a glimpse of the front atrium, cafeteria, library, new science room, maker's space, music room, new gymnasium, and a one-of-a-kind tropical conservatory. The students were amazed by the size of the new building and the modern design elements that were incorporated into the construction!

One of the highlights of the tour was seeing the classrooms and how they were designed to be generous in size, flexible and adaptable, allowing for a variety of teaching styles and learning activities. The students were amazed by the size of their classrooms! They were also excited to learn that the new building will be used not just for school events but also for community events, allowing the students to be a part of a larger cultural experience.

The student council students were thrilled with the tour and are excited to see the new building when it opens in the fall and are eager to start using the new facilities to enhance their learning experience! Hear from a few of our student council students on what their favorite part of the new building is!
