CORGIVILLE FAIR NURSERY
Corgiville Fair Nursery is located in the lower level of The Dahlhouse and nurtures the youngest learners at Kids Express Learning Center. Up to eight children, six weeks to a year old, attend the nursery each day. Two teachers are devoted to the children's care, with a third teacher sharing time between the nursery and the adjoining toddler room.
The children enjoy daily stroller rides around the eight-acre campus, time on the Infant/Toddler playground, and plenty of floor time and cuddle time with their teachers. When weather restricts outdoor activities, the children enjoy a change of venue in Little Engine That Could; our smaller of two gyms, where the children have extra space for playing with large toys. Twice weekly, the children enjoy attending our Bucky Beats percussion music class.
Parents and teachers work together to develop individual sleeping, eating, and playtime plans for each baby, and teachers inform parents of the child's daily experiences, including nap, feeding, and diapering details. The nursery environment is rich with milestone moments, abundant enthusiasm, and genuine affection.

MISS EMILY B
CORGIVILLE FAIR NURSERY
Miss Emily graduated from the University of WI-Madison in May 2021 with a B.S. in Human Development & Family Studies and Education Studies. This double major gave her knowledge about supporting children's development in an educational setting with a focus on the bioecological model and diversity. During her 4 years at UW, she worked at the Waisman Early Childhood Program primarily in the 2-year-old classroom. She has loved working in a classroom with young children because every day is different and exciting. This teaching job ultimately was the reason she chose to pursue a degree in human development to understand children’s needs and motivations. Emily also has experience working at Madison Children’s Museum in the Education department where she facilitated programs for various age groups. This has shown her how important having a variety of developmental activities for young children is- she can’t wait to incorporate this into her classroom.
Miss Emily was born and raised in the suburbs of Milwaukee, WI with her two older siblings who also attended UW. Emily chose to have her first post-college job be at HHA because of the positive environment and outdoor focus. She loves to be outdoors and thinks that play is the best way for toddlers to learn. The animals also were definitely a contributing factor in choosing this school.
Miss Emily recently adopted a puppy named Belle. She was a foster fail because she is very sweet and always smiling. Emily spends a lot of time taking Belle on walks and to parks. She continues to foster other dogs to find their forever home. She also enjoys swimming, working out, doing yoga, shopping, and reading.
