MISS COURTNEY

WIND IN THE WILLOWS TEACHER

Miss Courtney grew up on a farm in Darlington, WI. She learned from a young age what it takes to care for animals and how to compete showing sheep on the local, state, and national level. Her parents played a big role in those experiences. She currently lives in Mount Horeb with her dog Bella and boyfriend Noah. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. Miss Courtney loves to bake, hike, and spend time on the farm.

At an early age Miss Courntey knew that she wanted to be an educator. Her teacher made such a positive and big impact on her. She was so kind, did lots of fun activities, and even had farm animals. When she was Star of the Week her teacher let her bring a baby lamb to school!

After high school Miss Courtney attended Southwest Technical College and got her associates in Early Childhood Education. While attending, she earned her Preschool Credential and graduated in 2014. After completing her education at Southwest Technical College she transferred her college courses to the University of Wisconsin Platteville where she continued her studies. While at UWP she earned her Infant and Toddler Credential and graduated with a Bachelor of Science: Education Studies.
